Computer Lighting:
Correct lighting in office environments is an important but often neglected issue. Studies show that as well as personal comfort, lighting can effect efficiency, sense of well-being, eye strain and headaches.

Eye strain can be caused by too much or too little light, reflection of light off such surfaces as computer monitors, windows etc, and glare from unshielded lighting. Computer workstation lighting needs to be adjustable to enable the user to focus light where required, especially when performing varied tasks. An ergonomic lamp should be provided at each workstation.

General background lighting in a computer workstation environment should be provided ideally by uplighters, there should be an even ambient lighting level through the office or room, with no dark or bright corners or other areas. Always try to use energy efficient lighting solutions
