I am satisfied with the quality of the speakers, play call of duty 4 every day at lunch and after dinner with some friends, and it really makes the game play that much better.

Ignore all those bad reviews these speakers are the best ones especially for the price. The sound is unbelievably crisp and the bass is perfect. The only downside is that you need to have a computer that is compatible with 5.1 surround sound. I sadly found out that even an intergrated sound card that supports it still doesnt sound right so i bought a new creative sound card. Above all, this is the surround sound you want. There is no point in getting the z5500 its just unneccesary.

Speakers work for all my movie/gaming surround sound needs. Control box is well designed, easy to use. Color-coded setup. Strong cables to the surround speakers is nice, an improvement over my last set of speakers.
The ability to hang the center speaker on my monitor is a plus.

It is controlled by 1 control pad, which is very simple to use. It has multiple inputs, for Red/White RCA connectors, which I use for my Xbox. And it has a microphone and a headphone jack on the control ... Read More

The speakers are really awesome! exactly what i needed!
Pros: The speakers are just perfect for my small dorm room. They fit fine on my desk and don't clutter anything, they produce clear nice sound, even at high levels.
Cons: the bass is really heavy (which isn't really a con if you think about it, but i have to turn mine way down). BEWARE you have to have a sound card (or other form of mutliple jacks) if you want to hook these speakers up on a computer for true surround sound. ... Read More
