The headphones provided good noise reduction and great sound. As noticed by other people the sound quality was better with the noise reduction turned on. I would recommend these head phones to anyone looking for a less stressful flight or who enjoy great sounding music while traveling.

I looked at the reviews on Bose and Audio-Technica headphones and saw that the reviews were higher for the AT's, and there was several complaints on the life of the Bose. I decided to buy the AT's but was very disappointed. The noise canceling worked well, and the sound was decent (maybe a 3.5 out of 5), but I immediately sent them back when I realized that the volume on the outside was almost 1/2 as much as the volume on the inside! After reading the great reviews of these headphones, I thought I'd save myself some money and invest in one of these.
Most of the good things folks write about these headphones are true: good sound, nice noise reduction, solid construction.
The cons: the construction might be too solid, so it feels tight and pinched on the ears. Especially uncomfortable if you have glasses, like me. It's hard to wear these for a long period of time, as I found out on a transpacific flight ... Read More

I received these as a gift for use with my iPhone. They do exactly as I expected, and deliver clear sound in complete comfort. I cannot wear earbuds and these are the perfect, albeit somewhat bulky, solution for my air travels.
