It's perfect for the bedroom, kids room, kitchen, or an small area. The volume is just fine. I don't know what these people posting single star reviews are talking about. I have no complaints on this television. If I do, I'll update this review.

I found the previous reviews very helpful when trying to decide whether to buy this TV or not. I received it this week and I am extremely happy with it. The size is great. Many of the 15" TV's are bigger. The picture is very clear and sharp, the sound good. One of the problems that previous reviews mentioned was that the sound was not loud enough in the DVD mode. What a pleasure this TV is. Plug it in (on cable) and you have an immediate response-great color and clarity, for both the TV and DVD functions.

MY INTENTIONS FOR THIS TV WERE 2 FOLD, 1-WAS TO USE IT AS AN OUTDOOR TV/DVD PLAYER WHENEVER MY WIFE AND I SIT OUTSIDE AND WATCH OUR I LOVE LUCY DVD's....LOL....AND THE 2ND USE FOR IT WAS TO USE IT AS A SURVEILLANCE CAMERA MONITOR.
