Rating: - Great Little Mouse
I've been using this item for about 6 months and I think it is great. I'm only on my third set of batteries. Admittedly I don't use it all day long everyday, but I get enough usage that I can't complain about the battery life. A HINT: When you are done using it, unplug the receiver and store it in the bottom of the mouse. That automatically disconnects the batteries and prolongs their life.
I've used it on two desk tops and a lap top with no problems.

I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE EARLIER REVIEWS ON THIS MOUSE. HAD I DONE SO, I WOULDN'T HAVE PURCHASED THIS ONE. NO SENCE IN KICKING A DEAD HORSE BUT I CONCUR WITH ANY AND ALL OF THE PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS. FRUSTRATION IS THE WORD

I haven't even been using it for a week before it went bad. It is freezing on me right now as I type this review. It just doesn't work anymore- it wasn't turning off at all when I would store it- nor will it turn on when I want it to. You would think the maker of SwissArmy would do a little better than this. Mine is going in the trash! Save yourself $25.

This mouse was my first wireless of my own, but I have used others and this one is the best so far.
Rating: - Horrible use of battery power - PURCHASE NOT RECOMMENDED
This would be a great wireless mouse if it weren't for it's battery usage. It runs on dual AAA batteries. They need replacing about every 2-3 weeks. I DO NOT recommend this mouse. Instead of adding to my large collection of AAA batteries, I'm purchasing another mouse that handles battery usage efficiently.
