Editorial Review:

Product DescriptionHP-V061 ear cap is designed to fit entirely in the ear, ensuring a more comfortable fit. What's more, it reduces sound leakage and let's listeners enjoy more natural bass than ever. Ear pad shape is designed for a perfect fit and comfortable listening even over long periods. What's more, it ensures a tighter seal with the ear for richer bass reproduction.HP-V061 also features Aiwa's unique 'Duo bass boost pipe-phone'. The pipe-phone advanced feature was developed by AIWA to improve the low-frequency reproduction of smaller in-ear type headphones. Based on the same principle as a pipe organ, it employs a compact U-shaped resonating duct to deliver surprisingly deep and powerful bass response. AIWA took this technology a step further with Duo bass boost, which features both a short and a longer Z-shaped bass resonator duct. The result is astonishingly deep, rich, well-defined bass sound that cannot be matched by single-duct designs.

This pair turned out to be an almost complete disappointment. To be sure, the sound quality is fantastic; the treble is nice and high, the bass is spectacular for 'phones so small...

Unfortunately, the sound quality is not so good as to make up for the major problem with the 'phones: a glaring design ... Read More
