Rating: - Where is the NDIS driver?
Excellent product. Installs and performs flawlessly. But they must have decided that no one uses or needs NDIS drivers anymore, as there is none available. A fact that makes the card useless to anyone who uses DOS based disk imaging programs over a network. And the DOS based utilities are still by far the best, so why isn't this driver included? The 10/100 cards had them!

Rating: - Be aware of ethernet cable issues.
Be aware of ethernet cable issues. Even though the Cat5e spec is for cables up to 300 meters long, you may have issues with a much shorter cable, depending on factors such as the quality of the cable, the connections, bends in the cable, etc. I experienced data loss with a 90 foot cable.
Rating: - Excellent Product & Value
I needed more speed on my network. I run a home based business and have 8 computers on the network. The computers could handle a large amount of data quickly. The standard speed switches I had could only operate at 10/100. I looked into and purchased two Gigabit Switches (16 and 5 ports). I also purchased the corresponding network adapter cards (that's a no brainer). It was one of the best technology investments I made in 2006.
