This high quality IR-Illuminator has a weatherproof, IP66, housing for both indoor or outdoor use. To make sure infrared lights fully functional, special cctv cameras featured with low illumination, infrared ray sensitivity are required. Without this kind of special cameras, these infrared lights will not work well.

This unit made my inexpensive day/night camera work in the dark. I am now able to record images that can be used to ID an intruder and without the use of large costly flood lights. this is my second illuminator and both do a wonderful job.
