Rating: - some current cons - but improvements likely on the way
I was disappointed to realize that this thing was really only meant to work as a backup device, and not as a normal hard drive. I called tech support about 1) being able to delete files that I've backed up and 2) whether the device can be used as a normal hard drive (i.e. to store things on temporarily, etc, without going through the back up software). I was told that 1) within 3-4 weeks an update to the software will come out that will allow deleting of individual files and 2) I can drag or ... Read More

I bought this item after seeing a 'bigger' version offered on a home shopping channel. I knew I didn't need all that memory that they were offering. This product worked EXACTLY as it said it would. I literally just plugged it in and it worked (which was a big deal cause I have had other things that were supposed to start automatically but they wouldn't on my computer).
