Rating: - Great case for air flow and install
I live in Hawaii and my apartment has neither AC nor a way to get the trade winds to flow through. Because of this I picked up the TEMPEST, even with temps in my apartment in the high 80's low 90's my rig runs stable, its often much cooler in the case that outside even playing Crysis on High.
The install was one of the best I have had. I could of liked a removable mobo tray, but their was lots of room to work. Only thing that could be an issue for some people is the placement of ... Read More
Rating: - Incredible simply incredible.
I have been using Ultra towers for just about every build and even though they're a little cheaper this tower is incredible in every way! I upgraded my personal machine for the third time and in the Ultra tower it was getting too hot so I did some research and found the Tempest from NZXT and have been using it for over a month now and it's been on almost the entire time without fail. I have put my fans(swapped exhaust 120mm, PCI exhaust fan, PCI twin cooler fans) in the tower to help with air flow, ... Read More
Rating: - A product well worth the price
At first I was skeptical about purchasing a case that wasn't made by a more popular vendor, but the design and functionality of this case made it ideal for the kind of work I do, and the look is just plain cool. After assembling the case and switching it on, the first thing I noticed was how quiet it was. With all of those fans on, the heat my machine let off filled the room, but my hardware monitors all show low-to-moderate component temps inside. I highly recommend this case for anyone serious about ... Read More
Rating: - Great case
Great case. Plenty of room. Advertised as a midtower. I'd say it's someplace in between an mid and full tower. With 6 fans it definitely runs cool and they run relatively quiet. If you want to monitor all of the fan speeds be sure your motherboard has enough fan headers.
The two front mounted USB ports are pretty close together making it difficult to use them both at the same time for all but the slimmest USB connectors.
I'd wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Rating: - Great Item AMAZON SUCKS!
I'm sure this is a fantastic tower, unfortunately I can't get one that isn't broken to verify. I just put in a request for my THIRD replacement tower. The first one arrived beat all to hell, why you ask? Because Amazon thinks slapping a shipping label on the side of a box that has NO PADDING INSIDE makes for an acceptable way to ship a PC tower. It arrived broken, I called to get a second replacement and report the problem. Of course I'm dealing with the call center in India where I can't understand ... Read More
