Product DescriptionThis is a brand new, four (4) port cable television drop amplifier, just like the ones that your local cable company uses to correct their system's shortcomings. This new model packs a powerful punch in a compact, easy-to-install package! By connecting these fantastic signal boosters to the drop cable coming in from the street, you can increase the signal strength entering your home by up a whopping +7 db per port!
If you have multiple televisions or run a cable modem for your internet, this product is recommended. By having four ports come directly off of the amplifier, there is no need for additional splitters, which reduce signal strength. If you are tired of tv pictures that don't seem as clear as they should be, dropped internet connections, or just desire a reliable amplifier to give continuous, steady signal to your home or business, this is for you!

After having problems all my life with these AMPS i have hit gold with this one.It has preformed well and cleared up all my problems with snow and picture breakup. It has handled all four TVS,including the two high DEFS.i have.Cable had told me the four way splitter should work and handle all four sets. It's a shame they are the only game in town.I strongly recommend this unit, and at 34.00 it's a steal.Only one problem now is when they see all the five star reviews they will raise the price.Update ... I sort of wish I had gotten one with more ports but this 4 port unit works as advertised and does not inject any noise into the line. I had used a few different 'radio shack' units before where I could detect faint snow or other pattern noise on some channels with the booster. I saw nothing but improved signals with this unit.
Rating: - Great booster for digital tuners
I bought this to use on my poor Comcast signal. It does a great job and I can now receive all the digital channels on my computer that I use for recording.

This product works well and it also works with cable modem. I just want to share that since someone here mentioned not to connect the modem to this product. There is a little bit of signal loss for the upstream data from the modem which may or may not have an effect to your situation. The signal loss is normal when going through any kind of signal splitters, although there are other products out there that amplifies upstream signal.

Actually making the signal strength stronger. So far, it's been about 2 weeks and not one problem with pixelation. My DVR has recorded much more consistently because of the stronger signal and my cable modem has not had a single problem with noise. IMO, my internet is more consistent and because of ... Read More
