Rating: - Worth the price, but not the best possible solution
The device is easy to install: plug your tv cable into the included connector adapter, plug that into the TVMicro device, uncap the USB connector and plug the TVMicro into the computer's USB port. (An extension cable is included in case the bulky TVMicro doesn't fit in a set of densely packed USB connectors.) AN IMPORTANT NOTE: The device has no way to control a cable box, so it essentially can not be used with a cable box unless you control everything manually instead of automatically.

Rating: - Works on iBook G4
Just wanted to point out that I got this to work on my iBook G4 (1.07 Ghz) just fine. The specs say you need something faster than that, but it works for me just fine. The computer runs a little slower than usual while you are watching or recording, but you can still use other applications and whatnot just fine. I recommend this product, it is very compact and efficient. I really love it, and have not experienced the durability issues others have mentioned.

[This review is of the Miglia TVMini (powered by eyetv - by Elgato). The reviewed product version is the USB stick version, with remote control, portable aerial and EYE TV 2 software. It is marketed sometimes as being by Elgato. Mine is by Miglia, with Elgato appearing on the packaging.]

Rating: - A great little tool
I use the Tv Micro on my iMac and it works like a charm. It was easy to install and set up. The picture is clear. I especially appreciate the ease with which you can schedule programs to record directly from the program guide - much easier and more reliable than programming a VCR. It does take a lot of memory, but that's a small price to pay for such an excellent utility.
