I purchased this modem from INVENTORYRECOVERYVA to avoid the monthly $3.00 rental fee from Comcast. The modem was shipped quickly, as described, and perfectly matches the standard issue Comcast modem.

I recently just got Cable w/the RCA DCM425 modem. Everything was going good at first. I was able to connect to the internet with no problems... until I tried to run a game called Planetside (Massive Online Game created by Sony). Every time I tried to log onto the server, I was disconnected. I tried everything, disabling/removing my Norton Firewall. Turing off all of Windows Security Center options. Nothing worked. I called Sony's support and they said it was my Cable provider. I called my Cable provider ... Read More
